The zebrafish vertebrate modell, especially the larvae fish </= 5 days post fertilisation (dpf) offers countless possibilities for (in vivo) development and physiological  research, such as disease models, toxicity tests, cell migration and regeneration as well as human tumor cell (xenograft) studies. It is therefore not meaningfull to offer a general or single service/procedure here. It is therefore best to simply contact us with your questions and ideas.

Fisch Racks

Our facility is equipped with 8 racks. Each rack has 50 tanks each with an capacity of 3.5 liters in which up to 24 adult zebrafish can be kept.
The systems is equipped with an automatic water exchange and regulates the most important water values independently, which guarantees healthy growth of the fish.

e.g. Arrival by bus and train or map

From Bonn main station you can take the bus line 601, 602, 603 to "Berinstraße" or "Botanischer Garten". Or you can take the bus line 632 to "Nussallee" which will bring you to the front of the lecture hall. Our Facility is in the older building behind the lecture hall.
