We are delighted to announce that our new Sony ID7000 Spectral Analyzer has finally arrived and is now part of the Flow Cytometry Core Facility in Bonn.
With this addition, the ID7000 becomes the third Sony ID7000 instrument in our facility, further expanding our analytical capacity and ensuring better instrument availability for our users.
Similar to the ID7000 that we previously installed, the new analyzer is fully equipped with seven excitation lasers, providing the same high-end configuration. This ensures that experiments can be transferred seamlessly between the two instruments, guaranteeing full compatibility, consistent performance and straightforward reproducibility of results.
The seven-laser configuration also makes the instrument future-proof, offering maximum flexibility for emerging fluorochrome developments, next-generation spectral dyes, and novel flow cytometry applications. Our users will therefore continue to benefit from a platform that is ready to support both current and future research needs.
