Since January 1, 2026, the UKB has a new core facility focusing on histological techniques. It is located in the Center for Skin Diseases (Building A11).
The Histo CF offers basic histological services such as paraffin embedding, sectioning, histological and immunohistological staining, as well as processing of cryosamples. It not only offers standard services, but also individual requirements are possible. If you are interested, feel free to contact the Core Managers.
The services are primarily aimed at researchers at the UKB and the University of Bonn. Researchers from outside these institutions can use the service after contacting the facility in advance.
